Fremantle's 'Only Gay in the Village' Night Print
From Wednesday, 25 April 2007
To Wednesday, 25 June 2008
7:30pm - 11:00pm Each month

What's Gay in the Village all about?
"Gay in the Village" is a regular event, held in Fremantle on the last Wednesday of every month. It provides gay girls and guys a casual night out alternative to Perth city venues. It's been running for over a year now and organisers are keen to keep it going due to all the positive feedback received.

New venue?
Due to circumstances beyond our control "Gay in the Village" has had to find a new home and move from The Sail and Anchor. So Little Creatures Brewery seemed like a great place to trial.

Little Creatures Brewery is set inside a huge converted boat shed on the Fishing Boat Harbour in Fremantle. It's hip and funky and specialises in local boutique beers. They offer a great selection of food ranging from $7 appetizers to $30 meals. For more info visit the Little Creatures website

Please note, where Fremantle Gay in the Village nights end up ultimately depends on patron feedback, and of course other factors such as pub receptiveness and availability.

More information/ideas?
To get on the mailing list, or if you have any suggestions on how to improve the event please contact Assunta or Mia on new email This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it

Organisers hope everyone will join them on Wednesday 30 April and Wednesday 28 May and thank everyone for their support so far!

And finally...

Please spread the word to your friends, colleagues, networks etc... We're really keen to make this event bigger and better known within the community.

Come down for a look-see, a chat and catch up.

That's so politically incorrect

Hilary DuffFor some time now it's been popular among members of Generation Y to declare that something is "so gay" to indicate that it's dumb, silly, bad, ugly, unattractive, geeky, embarrassing, gaudy or even just plain dull. That’s so gay. That’s so gay. That’s so gay. It's the dull that hurts the most.
